Hi Everyone, Well, what do you think? Ain’t it just spectacular?!! Can’t believe I did it (with help!!) and it’s finished!! Can I hear your “oohs and ahhs!!” along with mine? Just wanted you to rejoice with me in the finished product. Oviously,I am very pleased with the outcome of the months spent on this project. Brad and I will enjoy having it framed and hung in our family room.
As you can imagine, I learned alot and will continue practicing and get better over time. Rex, my teacher, says I just have to not be afraid to experiment because I can always paint over and start again. I have MANY layers of paint on other things he and I did together.
I loved putting on my brother, Jack’s , shirt as my painting smock. His work is soooo beautiful. Hope God will tell him and he’ll be proud of his sis!!
Thank you for sharing the joy of work well-done with me—–and Rex who doesn’t want credit but he knows all he did to make this project a success!! His work is also so beautiful. Like my brother, Jack, Rex is self taught.
If you have creative talent, hope you’re using it and giving God pleasure at your using the talent He gave you.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Ginny

Ginny,
This is fabulous! It looks just like your home. I love the angle that we are viewing..not just straight on.
Keep on painting; you are an incentive to me!
“With God all things are possible” What a promise!

Diane, good to hear from you. Thanks for the words of encouragement.
I know Mel is hoping to see you while she’s here in February. So glad she loves keeping up with her girlfriends. She loves being a Mama and Jagur adores her. She sends us short videos of him several times a week. Can’t wait to have them all here.
Thanks for keeping up with me. Ginny
This IS spectacular!! You rendered a beautiful painting of your home! Keep painting.
Thanks Martha, for your sweet words. I am a proud ar—tiste(can you hear the pronunciation?!!(smile) It is at the framers now and it will hang over our family room couch so I’ll look at it it everyday. It is a glory to God.
We’ll be in Macon in March. I’ll let you know the dates. Hope we can visit.
Love you lots and thanks for keeping up with me. Please let me know how the ankle battle goes.
Hugs, Gin
It’s beautiful! Proud of you mom!
That is a fabulous picture of your house!! Your talents have taken a new, and wonderful direction.
Ann, thanks for your sweet words of painting encouragement. It was surely my teacher and the Lord who allowed this work of art. Brad reprimands me when I give alot of credit to my teacher but I KNOW I could have done none of it without his His/his help!! It is at the framer’s now and we are anxious to have it back and hung. I am working on alittle painting for Melanie for her March 10th birthday that is my rendition of her backyard in all it’s overgrown beauty before Brad cut it all back.I am doing this one on my own and my teacher will help fine tune it when I’ve done what I know to do. I think you know I was prophecied over in October and was told my painting is what pleases the Lord so that’s why I am going to it. Of course it is fun for me too. I don’t know much but the teacher just encourages me to experiment as I can always paint over and start again. That is a GOOD THING!!
Let us know how the surgery went this morning. Glad you are coming along well. Can’t wait to see the “new foot!!”
Love and hugs, Ginny
